Pitiful Babies.

Well, today has been the most miserable day thus far this week. Will was up last night until about 9:30 when he fell asleep in the recliner in the den with Eddie. We put him down around midnight and he woke up around 1AM moaning. I got up and fed him and put him down and he cried himself out. It was pitiful. But I knew I needed to try to get him to sleep in his crib. He slept until 7:30.

We were up for good then. I know that's not early, but it is when you've been up until about 2AM two nights in a row. I am feeling pretty zombie-ish.

This morning Will was just pitiful. He's moaning, crying, sneezing, coughing, rubbing his nose and eyes. He wants to be held, but he doesn't want to be held. I finally got him to be content for about 45 minutes in the jumpy with a tray full of puffs.

At lunchtime Eddie brought our antibiotics home. Will LOVED his, James did not. Par for the course. James complains about any and every medicine tasting bad. I think if I told him it was a little tiny cup of liquid candy or Gatorade or something he deems "good" he wouldn't bat an eye. We also did eye drops then. Thankfully, I read on the internet to drip eye drops onto the tear duct and then when the uncooperative kid opens his eyes, they'll roll in. James has been GREAT, but as you can imagine, Will doesn't like the drops. This worked well. Six more days.

Will's ear had drained by this morning - I think that's why we got the 5 hour stretch of sleep last night.

Both boys went down for naps around 1PM. Will was up by 1:45. Womp, womp. He's my 3 hour napper. He got up and rocked with me for about 45 minutes until James was up. After a bit I fed Will and put him back down for a nap. I'm hoping he'll stay there for a while.

Both boys are miserable. James is BORED and it's too cold to play outside. Will just FEELS awful. I should try to take a better picture of his pitiful face.

Hopefully we'll be on the mend now that we have antibiotics!

At first I thought that was a picture of James! Will looks so big! I hope your poor babies feel better soon! If y'all weren't "catching" I would come and help you, but I definitely don't want pinkeye!
