Both boys slept in their own beds all night. That was a HUGE relief. I gave Will some Motrin around 6PM and it must have carried him through the night.
Last night, Eddie and James ran an errand to Lowe's that wound up taking almost TWO hours. Eddie was not impressed. His favorite store has failed him. We're getting new carpet in our master closet on Monday morning and they'd quoted him one price, and then tried to charge him for something they said would be free. He complained but offered to pay it anyway. They wound up fixing it, but I think for the time spent I might have just been finished! Whew!
In the meantime, Will and I were home and Will was MISERABLE. I've realized that when he's laying in bed his ears probably hurt. He cat napped the day away yesterday and his last nap was around 6:30 with me in the recliner. After the Motrin kicked in, though, he felt much better!
Both boys' eyes look better. James gets drops until Tuesday and Will until Wednesday. Eddie and I haven't needed them yet. My eyes have felt dry and itchy and I haven't worn my contacts but it hasn't been pinkeye. Allergies? I wouldn't be surprised if something was blooming in this crazy weather. Who knows.
Anyway, we're still stuck at home but maybe not for much longer. James is about to lose his mind. He has been GRUMPY and so have we. :/ Maybe a visit from Papa and YaYa tomorrow will cure what ails him.
Luckily, we've been able to get some housework done today. It's sort of tough to keep up with the cleaning when you're holding a miserable baby all day long so it was HIGH time to get it done.
Hope y'all are having a good weekend!
