Happy St. Patrick's Day!

When James finished breakfast this morning we put on his new St. Patty's Day shirt that Mrs. Whitney made for him. He looks so cute in it but it is almost too small! Thank goodness he's only wearing it today! I'm sort of sad that we're out of 18 month clothes and into 24 months/2T stuff. He's growing WAY too fast!

Are you wearing your green today? I had several green shirts to choose from!

James' hair has gotten much longer and much thicker lately. Unfortunately, it's also gotten wild. I cannot get it to stay brushed at all. I feel like I'm dealing with Harry Potter and his wild hair. I think it's trying to get a little wavy on the top and it's a little curly in the back, but it just always looks like it's not brushed.

James will not cooperate for pictures now to save his life. In the picture below he's not sleepy, he's not hiding, he's not being sweet/cute...he's trying to lean up far enough to see Mickey on the TV in the den. Little stinker!

He will consistently say "Cheese!" when he sees a camera.

This is his new favorite toy. It's a hand-me-down from a neighbor. It's a little boom box with four different songs sung by Sesame Street characters. We don't watch Sesame Street because it's on during naptime, but James does know who Elmo is from several toys that he has. His favorite song on this toy is Elmo's song. He sings "YaYaYaYa" instead of "LaLaLaLa." I think we're going to start singing "FaRaRa" this year like the men at the Chinese Restaurant in "Christmas Story." "No, no, no, no, no. Not FaRaRaRaRa...LaLaLaLaLa!"

There's another song on it called "Doin' the Pigeon" sung by Bert. Or Ernie? I think it's Bert. It goes "Doin' the {Whooo Whooo} pigeon. Doin' the {Whooo Whooo} pigeon." If we hear it even once a day Eddie and I will sing it for the rest of the day. It's horrible and I'm considering hiding that one.

We've been WAY too busy for our own good this week, but I thought we'd stop in to say Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hope you don't get pinched!

He looks so cute in his St. Patty's day attire! I'm ashamed to say that Kynlee has nothing to wear that is St.Patty's Day festive. She had 10+ Christmas outfits, and at least SOMETHING for the other holidays thus far, but not today.
