The ABCs of Me!

James and I have been at the beach with my mama for the past few days and I don't have my pictures ready yet, so to tide you over, I'm stealing this post from Amy's blog. Enjoy!

A - Age: 27
B - Bed Size: King!
C - Chore You Dislike: Washing Dishes and putting away laundry probably tie.
D - Dog: Lab-mix named Scout. She's 3.
E - Essential Start to the Day: Coffee, email, blogs.
F - Favorite Color: Purple
G - Gold or Silver: I like both but most of my jewelry is silver or white gold.
H - Height: 5'6"
I - Instruments Play(ed): I took 2 or 3 years of piano lessons (my family is laughing) but I am not musically gifted in any way.
J - Job Title: Wife/mama
K - Kids: James-17 months.
L - Live: A cute little neighborhood in Georgia.
M - Mom's Name: Carolyn
N - Nicknames: nothing that I'll answer to. Ha! Having taught, I tend to get called by my last name a lot. The girls in college called me Hastypants because my maiden name is Hasty. Not sure why, though...
O - Overnight Hospital Stays: Only when I was born and when James was born.
P - Pet Peeves: Hmmm...I can't think of anything right now. Come back to me!
Q - Quote from a Movie:
R - Righty or Lefty: Lefty! :)
S - Siblings: Anna (25) and John (24).
T - Time You Wake Up: Usually 7:30-ish.
U - Underwear: is very important.
V - Vegetables You Don't Like: Brocolli. Bleh.
W - What Makes You Run Late: James. Eddie. Self-consciousness and indecision about my clothing choices.
X - X-Rays You've Had: Teeth, Back, Neck, Legs.
Y - Yummy Food You Make: I like my Cashew Chicken. Eddie likes my Poppyseed Chicken. I'm pretty good at lasagna.
Z - Zoo Animal Favorites: Elephants, lions, gorillas, any water animals - dolphins, whales, sharks.

I'll be back tomorrow or Monday with a recap from our WHOLE long break. Pictures included!

Fun!! blogs and email are an essential part to my morning, too (i usually check them from my phone while lying in bed - ha!) and i got called by my last name ALL the time when teaching....i kind of thought it was weird (and i'm not talking about "mrs. tippins" from the kids, i mean other teachers would just call me, "tippins" or "tip" - is that what you meant??)
