Silence.

I wish that I could pop in here today and recap the fun weekend that we had. I wish that I could tell you we'd stayed home this weekend. I really want to be able to recap the last-minute, too-short beach trip that we took at the beginning of last week. The sad news is that today I can't do any of that. The sad news is that we spent the weekend pacing the floor of the ICU in a hospital in Atlanta. We sat and waited with my brother and sister, aunts and uncles, my mama. We waited for news. For test results. For doctors to make rounds. 

Poppy (Sonny) suffered a stroke on Thursday morning after we'd gotten home from the beach. The current news is that he's doing exactly what the doctors want him to be doing. He's resting in order to keep his body stable. I wish I could share more information but there's just not a lot to give right now. We've come back from Atlanta because the boys start school this week and we have other goings-on but I know we'll be burning up the interstate to Atlanta for a bit. I won't be sharing much on here about his details, but I did want to ask for prayers for him.
