Well, we had a tough weekend. We knew it would be. I took the boys to Tifton for the day on Thursday and after some errands Friday morning all four of us went back for the weekend. We hated the circumstances. We went to celebrate the life of the father of one of my sweetest friends. And it was a doozie, to be sure. I have so many wonderful memories that that man is in. I basically lived at their house growing up and I enjoyed every minute of it. If you think about it, lift up a prayer for them.
Despite the circumstances, I got to spend the majority of the weekend with another of my sweet friends. Maddy and I had not seen much of each other since high school. Until a month ago at our "reunion" I'm not sure we'd spent more than a handful of hours together in ten years. But we spent many together this weekend and I enjoyed visiting with her.
In addition to that, we did some visiting with our families. I intentionally left my weekend wide open for some just in case, but we did squeeze in a little playing while we were there.
I didn't take many pictures this weekend, but here are the few that I did take.
Waiting on a new app to download. I have had to remember to LOG OUT of my iTunes account because some little stinker knows how to purchase apps these days. Glad I realized he knew how to get in there before he'd bought anything! His favorites are between $3-5 each!
Haircut day! Before....
After! And too cool to smile.
Speaking of cool...or not. This was the temperature when we left our house Friday afternoon. The Weather Channel said it FELT 10* hotter. 100% humidity. Ahhh. Life in the south.
Thankfully, Eddie's sister Kelly has a pool. So off we went Saturday afternoon. Will was MISERABLE in the heat so in an effort to cool him down I pulled off his clothes and handed him over. He LOVED it after he got used to it.
Y'all have a great week!
