Christmas Card Carousel

Every year I've shared our Christmas card here and even though it's AFTER Christmas this year, I didn't want to miss it!

What a year 2019 has been! There have been lots of ups and downs, but we are happy and healthy and that's what really matters!

I hope that this has been a happy, healthy year for all of you as well! Happy New Year, friends!

Picture Perfect!

I do this to myself every year. Every single year I wait until the last possible minute to take pictures of the boys for Christmas cards, then I get frustrated with them when they won't cooperate. I fret and I fuss over which picture to use. I tell myself every year that next year I'll get a photographer to take them for us. And yet, here we are...

I LOVE to get a Christmas card in the mail, though, and so I go through the rigamarole each year so that I can send mine out to my friends and family. But if you could only see behind the scenes...

Minted makes choosing a Christmas card SO darn easy. I love to use their filters in order to fine-tune my search. I do a little clicking to choose how many photos I want on the front, the size of the card, the sentiment, and even the saying and voila! Narrowed-down choices.

Two years ago I chose one of their postcard designs, and I have to say - SO EASY. I'm leaning toward doing those again this year. No envelopes to stuff, you just address, stamp, and send! And they'll even address them for you!

Minted has a GORGEOUS selection of Christmas cards this year! And TODAY ONLY - use the code CM2017 for a special Cyber Monday price. I hope you find some that you love! And if you do - send one to me!!!

I received a coupon code in exchange for a post. All opinions are my own!

Merry Christmas!

I know I've been MIA, but I wanted to pop in and share our Christmas card with you for 2016! Every year I've ordered a card and have taken a screen shot of it on my computer to share with you here, but Shutterfly has blocked that feature this year (I get it, I do...), so this is a picture of our card with my phone. Lol! It looks great! ;) I JUST got these in the mail yesterday and today so they're on their way, but they are late this year!!! These are not my favorite cards we've ever sent. Every year I say I don't need to get a photographer and every year I kick myself for not doing it. Oh well. Maybe one year I'll learn!

I hope to blog again before the end of the year, but in case I don't, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Christmas Card Carousel.

I'm linking up with Faith once again for another year of Christmas Card Carousel. I LOVE our Christmas card this year. SO love it. I thought I was going to hate it because I took the picture all by myself. I ALWAYS say I'm not going to hire a photographer because I can do it myself and then I regret that in November so I'll scurry around and get one at the last minute. Well, I didn't get to do that this year so I just snapped this in our backyard and I LOVE it. Thank goodness! I got a postcard this year from Minted and they were a cinch! No stuffing envelopes and the stamps are cheaper. The downside is that Christmas postcard stamps are hard to find!

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!

Christmas Card

On the seventeenth day of Christmas...

I'm working backwards today to fill in the blanks from the gap where we've been sick so read below to see what else is new...

For six years I've linked up with Faith's Christmas Card Carousel. I LOVE Christmas Cards. I stress way, way, way too much when it comes to finding ours each year and I stalk the mailbox each day when it's Christmas card season!

I LOVE how ours turned out this year. I took the boys to my cousin's for professional pictures. It was an indoor session with a backdrop which I typically don't love, but I LOVE these. It's the first year Eddie and I haven't been in the picture, too, but I was perfectly okay with that!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

2013 Christmas Card.

It's time once again for the annual Christmas Card Carousel with Faith. I *think* I've linked up with her for five years. I'd have to go back and look. Our Christmas cards look blurry to me here, but they're clearer in person.

I ordered from Tiny Prints again this year and they were fabulous as usual. We had a tiny shipping snafu that they fixed IMMEDIATELY and then I wound up with FIFTY extra cards. FIFTY. {If you'd like one, send me your address. I'd hate to trash them!}

Check out the previous cards we've sent out! {Several hair color changes and a few more pounds and wrinkles and here we are!}

Merry Christmas, friends!

Merry Christmas!

Almost all of our cards have finally gone out! I think we have one or two that I'm waiting to get addresses, but for the most part they're either in the hands of those we sent them to or will be by this afternoon! We used Shutterfly again this year for our Christmas cards and I have to say that I really LOVE how they turned out!

We sort of rushed around to get our pictures this year. We'd had pictures made for the purpose of Christmas cards but then I couldn't ever decide what I wanted to do and I didn't own the rights to the pictures (and therefore wasn't able to really do my own thing) so we wound up not using those. Then, we had a friend take pictures and they turned out cute but James, who is in LOVE with our "photographer's" little girl, kept making silly faces at the baby in all of them. Ha! I thought we'd give it one last try after church and before Santa a few weeks ago. So I set up the tripod in the backyard, and this is what we got!

This is my second favorite Santa picture of James. He wasn't nervous at all and he really was whispering with Santa! :) Here's the bigger version:

Merry Christmas!
