Everything Else...

I've kept you up-to-date on all things Christmas this month, but the truth is that there has been a LOT more going on. Let's recap...

I read three books in November:
(1) James Patterson's When the Wind Blows. This one was good, but weird. It was very science fiction. Patterson's writing is always worth reading, in my opinion (even though we ALL know it isn't just him writing those books), but this one wasn't my very favorite. Still a good read, though! It follows the story of a veterinarian whose husband has died recently. And then her friend's husband dies. She starts to wonder if there's more to it. Then, to top everything, she comes upon a pre-teen girl WITH WINGS in the woods.
(2) Mistletoe Cowboy by Carolyn Brown. This is just as trashy as it sounds. I needed some reading that didn't require much thinking and this fit the bill. Sage's grandmother decides to sell their beloved farm to a man named Creed Riley. Sage goes back to try to save the farm and winds up with mixed feelings.
(3) Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich. This was another trashy read. I told you I needed some brainless books! It was a good one, though! Unexpected characters for sure, which is nice from time-to-time. Holly is still trying to rebound from her husband's illness and death when she meets a trainer named Logan. He works to get her back into shape and {obviously} a love connection is formed. LOL!

Poor little Will was sick before his mama and daddy got sick. I'm SURE all the times that he coughed IN MY FACE are not what got me sick, right?

James' class went on a field trip to our local Ford dealership {two daddies and a granddaddy in the Pre-K work there}. I expected it to be LAME, but it was the CUTEST field trip. The grandmother {the owner's wife} put together what was the most fun field trip! We really enjoyed it!

We had so much fun!

James also learned a cool trick this month! {He is SUPER hamming it up in this video. That southern accent!}

We have played a LOT of games...

Our favorite games right now are Scrabble Junior and Disney Pictopia.

We've had makeovers...

Just after this was taken I looked over and those brushes were under some arms...ick.

We've not played in our sandbox, but instead chosen to dig up the yard...

I've done a LOT of Jamberry business...

It's been a BUSY month! We've had a lot of fun!
