Jamberry!

I mentioned last week that I'd hosted a Jamberry Nails party on Facebook and I had SO much fun I decided to sign up to be a consultant. I am trying to book several "kick off" parties - both At-Home parties and Facebook parties for those who are near or far! - and pack my calendar for the next few weeks.  I promise not to turn this into a Jamberry blog, but I'd be silly not to mention it on here. I would LOVE your support for the first few weeks. If you have any interest at all in hosting a party {they're REALLY a lot of fun}, either email me - fresh{dot}lauren{at}gmail{com} or you can click HERE to schedule a party. You can also find me HERE on Facebook. If you like that page you'll get information about Jamberry that I'm not going to inundate blog readers with here.

Over the weekend I put a full set of Jams on my toes and did accent nails with pink polish on my fingers. I love the way it turned out. {The pattern on my toes is a bit out of character for me, but I still really like it! I will likely NOT do regular jams on my tiny toes again. I need the Juniors. I have itty bitty nails and the trimming made it harder to do.} There's a little bit of a learning curve that goes along with applying the nails, but nothing that was too hard to handle! {I can't believe I'm posting these pictures, but I wanted to show how easy it is and how they turned out!}

After the above pedicure this is how much I had used. You're supposed to get 2 manicures and 1 pedicure from each sheet. I wound up using two full tabs and one teensy piece of another. I could get at least 3 more pedicures or two more full manicures out of this with minimal trimming.

I painted all my nails except my ring fingers and put Jamberrys on those.

I had a friend who is hosting a party ask me over the weekend why I decided to get back into the direct sales business after Willow House. I had a terrible taste in my mouth after Willow House. The company sort of flopped and fizzled. At the beginning of a new season a few years ago they introduced jewelry to us - a home decor company. I was not a fan of the jewelry and a friend was selling Stella & Dot which is just beautiful. Why would I want to compete with jewelry that I liked better? In addition, you had to buy into that part of the company as well. They put all of their time and effort into the new side and I felt like the old side got left high and dry. It was sad to me. The start-up cost for Jamberry is SUPER affordable. And you can apply hostess credits to it which is awesome. There is no annual renewal fee. I make money off of my sales so the harder I work, obviously the more I'll make but there is no hard and fast monthly requirement. (That changes a little if you have a downline.) I think I'm going to enjoy it! I've booked two parties just in the first weekend and hope to book several more in the coming weeks!

I'm going to have a giveaway for all of you who'd like to help me support my new business! You can complete the entries below to enter. Nothing is mandatory - you can do as much or as little as you want and still be entered! - so have fun!

How fun would this be at a little girl birthday party! I'm in the stage where lots of friends are getting married and having babies and this would be so much fun to do at baby showers, bridal showers or bachelorette parties!!
