Gift Ideas for Preschool Boys

I often have people ask me about good gifts for little boys. I guess it's just the age but I have found a TON of stuff for James this year. He's three and into a variety of different things right now. It's just a FUN age.

1. Anything Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Seriously. Anything. What James has told Santa that he wants {and may be highly disappointed about} is THIS pirate ship. It's pricey, so here and here are other options.

2. Anything Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Yep. He's still into it at this age. He has this book and music player and it's gotten a lot of use. This train would seriously thrill him.

3. Speaking of trains, he's into those. He's not necessarily a big Thomas fan, although his age group says he probably should be. We really need a train for around our Christmas tree. I considered trying to get this Polar Express train this year.

4. Blocks! Wooden blocks are always fun, but so are Megabloks and Lego Duplos.

5. Who says boys don't cook? James has thoroughly enjoyed his grill that Santa brought last year. We've added a lot of food to it since. He has a kitchen set at my mom's that he loves, too.

6. We enjoy this pirate ship water table in the warm months. Heck, we could enjoy it right now in Georgia! Whew! Bring on the cooler weather!

7. Games! If you can find age-appropriate games, they are so much fun with kiddos this age. My recommendations are for Hi Ho Cherrio!, Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, and Hungry, Hungry Hippos.

8. An awesome sandbox!

9. James LOVES playing with Playdoh. Homemade or store bought, it's always a hit! This Fun Factory Deluxe is similar to one that I had as a kid. Grandmama, Kelly, and I were talking about this the other day!

10. Tools! He was given this drill set for his birthday, but he also carries Eddie's tools around, too. I have a feeling Santa might bring him more of his own!

I hope this was helpful!
