Teensy Babies!

I mentioned in the last post that we'd been super busy the past few days. James and I decided to go to Tifton on Friday to visit his new best friend. John Michael was born on May 17th. He is Chuck and Lori's new baby boy and because Chuck and Eddie grew up together and are such good friends, I know that James and John Michael will be as well!

John Michael is so tiny! I know that James was a lot teenier than he is now, but good heavens! I was amazed at what a big difference almost a pound makes. (JM was about half a pound less than James at birth but had lost some weight by the time we saw him.)

James was not too terribly interested in his new friend. Mrs. Lori saved the day by letting him play with one of Charlie's old toys and he absolutely loved it.

The mamas and the boys! (Please pardon my hair. I have no idea why I think that in 150% Georgia humidity it might actually look good straightened. I need a hair intervention.)

After meeting John Michael and having lunch with Lori, James and I visited with Cacky, Poppy, and Aunt Sassy for a little while. After school got out (for the year!) James and I went by the Putnals so that I could hold Baby Reed!!! I have been wanting to get my hands on that little monkey since the first time I met him. He is tinier than John Michael! I just couldn't take my eyes off of him!

When those crazy Putnal girls started getting ready for their dress rehearsal for dance we said goodbye and headed for the lake.

Thanks, Lori and Heather for letting me love on your babies!

aww I commented earlier on this picture of James! I love it! The expression on his face is hands down one of my favorites =)!
