Recipe of the Week...Brownie Trifle

I don't know about at your house, but it is cruddy outside at ours! I keep hearing the word "snow" and I am just hoping that there won't be any!!! It's MARCH for crying out loud! Bring on the sunshine! I'm over cold weather after January 1st!

How about a little pick-me-up in the form of a dessert? MaraDare and Cal brought this to our house for the rodeo and let me tell you - it is absolutely scrumptious! She told me that she got it out of a low-fat cookbook, so I know it can be altered to be figure-friendlier!

Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix
1 large box chocolate pudding
2 boxes cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups Cool-Whip
1. Bake brownies according to package.
2. Make pudding according to package.
3. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool-Whip.
4. Layer ingredients two times in a trifle dish!

DELICIOUS!

***If you don't have a trifle dish, I know how you can get one! :) Wink, wink! Southern Living Catalog page 32!***
