Weekend Update...

We had a pretty good weekend! Wish they didn't go by so quickly!

On Friday night after Eddie got home we headed out to Outback. We seem to always have great $$$ successes at Outback! It never fails! We have a card (Tiftonites, it's similar to a band card) that allows us to get a free appetizer. We always get a free Bloomin' Onion (a.k.a. Heart Attack on a Plate) when we go. I actually convinced Eddie NOT to eat the whole thing this time so part of it is in the fridge! Eddie ordered a steak and I stuck with my trusty favorite, Alice Springs Chicken. Since pregnancy I have had a mushroom aversion. I'll still eat Portabellas, because they're not slimy, but I don't like any others. I asked for my meal to have NO mushrooms. Lo and behold, when it came - mushrooms. I was a tiny bit aggravated, but I just scraped them into a pile on my plate and ate anyway. When the waitress realized that they'd put mushrooms on my meal she apologized over and over and then sent the manager to talk to us. He offered me a free dessert, but as I felt like I was going to have to be rolled out already, I politely declined. When he said he'd box something up for me so that I could eat it later, I jumped at the opportunity. I didn't really want the dessert he recommended, but went for it anyway. Oh sweet mercy...their Peanut Butter Pie is OUT of this world. We ate on it for three whole meals because it was so big and rich. I LOVED it!!!

Saturday was spent working around the house. I'm working on getting our office cleaned out and organized. Does anyone else feel like office supplies multiply unless you NEED something and then you can't find a single thing? Ugh! We're working on that. Eddie spent the day in the yard raking leaves, mowing leaves, and spraying. He was literally at it all day long.

Our blinds were supposed to be hung in our dining room on Saturday morning. However, the installer called to say he had a stomach bug and I said DO NOT COME TO THIS HOUSE. We can wait on those blinds! It is not worth all three of us getting that sick! I have been praying and praying that the stomach bug won't touch us this year.

Sunday we got more done on the office. We got plenty of to-dos marked off of our list. The groceries have been bought and the week planned out! Now to get the week started and get more done! Can't wait to see what's in store for us!
