Weekend Update...

We had a FUN weekend at our house! I don't think we were home for more than 5 minutes but we had a GREAT time!

On Friday we ate supper at Fatz Cafe'. It was tasty and redeemed itself (last time I didn't like what I ordered). If you've ever eaten at Fatz you know that my favorite part is the ROLLS! They taste like fried dough. And who doesn't love that??? After supper we went to Best Buy to look at Eddie's XM options. He's decided to stick with what he got for Christmas. Now to just get a subscription going!

On Saturday morning we spent our time cleaning up around the house. At 3:00 a lady named Robin Cook came to take 3 month pictures for us. She takes pictures all around middle Georgia and does on-location only. If you're interested, I'll be glad to give you her information! We love how our pictures turned out!

Saturday night we finally met some of our neighbors that we've been trading emails and phone calls with for over a year. They have two boys who are 7 and 3. In addition, Lori's sister, Amy, and her husband, Gary, who are also friends of our neighbors, came over. There were 5 little boys amongst us! It was lots of fun and very laid-back! We'll have to return the favor very soon!

On Sunday, Poppy and Cacky came up to play with James while Eddie and I went on our first date. We've left James before, but never to go hang out by ourselves. We saw "The Blind Side" and I'd have to say that it's my new favorite movie! I LOVED it. Sweet and very heartwarming. Now I can't wait to read the book!

After the movie we met Poppy and Cacky at Olive Garden for dinner. They headed out to try to beat the bad storms we had and we headed home so that Eddie could see at least ONE NFL game, since I'd made him miss the other. He actually jokingly asked if I wanted to go on our date to Buffalo's so that we could watch the game and eat beer. He should know better than that. If he'd offered Wild Wing I might've taken him up on it!
