Book Update...

FINALLY! I've finally finished Eclipse, the third book in the Twilight series. The end went by quickly. I just feel like Stephanie Meyer's stories drag a little in the middle. I liked this one better than I thought that I would, but I'm still not into it. The boys all pointed out at the beach that it COULD be that we're not very into them because we're not teenage girls. Oh yeah...ha!

I also finished Prince Caspian this week. It was much better than The Horse and His Boy. I have the movie - bought it for my kids at school to watch while I was out - but I haven't seen it yet. I might do that today since it's looking a little dreary outside.

I'm laying off the series for a bit. Just taking a break. I'm burned out on finishing a book and having to pick up the next one and deal with the same characters. Last night I started a book called Flipped. I've only read the first chapter so I have no clue what it's about. Hopefully it'll be a good one. It was on the YA Lit reading list. I've read 19 books this summer so far!

I was really really into the first Twilight book. New Moon was still interesting but I'm not a Jacob fan so it was like torture for me to read that one. The third one just lost me. I never made it through the part where they tell the old Indian stories at the camp fire. It went on and on and on and on...
I just couldn't do it anymore and I even skipped some pages in that part! I agree, I don't think we really get it because we aren't teenagers anymore!
I also wanted to tell you that Rob Pattenson, the guy who plays Edward, really doesn't even like his character. He thinks he's creepy too! Just thought you'd like to know since you like Jacob so much!

You should finish. You'd like the end of it. Edward is just so weird to me. I don't want someone starring at me. Find something else to do!
