A Page Is Turned: 2011 in Review...

Just for Eddie, I decided to join the crowd and recap our year. (I'm not sure the links will show up on the blog, but if you hover over them, you'll be taken to the blog post!)

In January, we went to James' first ever sick visit at the pediatrician. I'd debated about whether to take him in and I am so glad that I did because it turned out that he had RSV and Croup. Poor baby was pitiful!

Also in January, Mom, Anna, and I went to see Beauty and the Beast at the Fox, we started wedding dress shopping for Anna, James spent the day with Cacky and Poppy and visited MaMa at the nursing home, we had an ice storm at our house, and Baby Samantha was born and visited us a week later!

In February, I left James overnight for the first time ever. Eddie and I took a trip to Atlanta to do some furniture shopping and Cacky and Poppy came to our house to spend the night with him. We also had a visit from Melly and Bobby and Aunt Melly brought James a really special quilt that she and Cousin Paddy made for James!

In March, we spent a day at Zoo Atlanta with Papa and YaYa. James also had his first haircut. We went to the beach with Cacky for a few days and he LOVED the water. We had a visit from Sarah Beth Guest and her mama. James had his first haircut from Daddy. At the end of March we lost MaMa very suddenly.

At the beginning of April I got a NEW CAR. I still love it so much! We had a storm that knocked down one of our three bradford pear trees and I'm still pretty sad about it. We went strawberry picking with friends from Tifton. James saw the Easter Bunny for the first time and HATED him. We also had an egg hunt at the church. At the end of April (or the beginning of May?) we had a makeup baby shower for Baby Samantha since we'd had to cancel one in the fall.

In May Anna and Lance got married! We also had allergic reaction #1 to who-knows-what. (Hopefully we'll know in two weeks!)

In June, James went to Lake Keowee with the Smith family. We also had Anna's engagement party and Eddie and I went to St. Simons Island for a few days. AND we found out we were having another baby, even though I didn't blog about it until August.

In July, we went to the lake for the 4th. We also celebrated our 3rd anniversary!

In August, my baby boy started SCHOOL. Holy cow! We announced our baby news on the blog. At the very end of August we found out we'd be having another boy!

At the beginning of September, we went on a trip to Palm Coast for the week.

In October, James ran in his first 5K and Eddie and I moved James from a baby room to a big boy room! We also took a really fun day-trip to Chehaw and the pumpkin patch with the Trains. James turned two and we had a Mickey Mouse party! We had a GREAT time with all of the Halloween festivities!

In November, we celebrated Thanksgiving in Atlanta this year.

December brought our elf, George and we visited Santa! We kept some of our traditions and added in new ones!
