Baby Brother...25 Weeks!

We have been on the go since 7:30 this morning (after a late night of trick-or-treating!) so no picture with my post today. Just assume I don't look much different than last week. :) I'll work on getting Halloween pictures up, too.

*** James had a doctor's appointment this afternoon for his two-year check-up. He weighed 28.5 pounds and was 34.5 inches. He's in the 50-th percentile for height and weight and you should be able to double his height and get about how tall he'll be when he's finished growing. (5'9"? While shortness does run on his grandmothers' sides of the family, I'm hoping that the tall-ish-ness of the granddaddies sides will outweigh that. :) Eddie is 6' and my daddy is 6'. We're not super-tall people, but hopefully that will work for us!)

Okay, Baby Brother...

Size of the Baby: Eggplant – If these fruits/veggies are running together for you like they are me, that means that Baby Brother measures about 13.6 to 14.8 inches and weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds. This is for the entire sixth month, not just this week.

Total Weight Loss/Gain: +3 pound

Maternity Clothes: I’m in them! I’m out of most everything else, save sweaters that are open in the front.

Gender: Another boy!

Movement: Yes! Lots and lots and lots of it. He enjoys sitting right on top of my bladder all.the.time. I feel like he’s a lot lower than James was. James was all in my ribs all the time!

Cravings: I finally feel SO MUCH better. I’m not craving anything (except lots of sugar…not good) but I’m finally eating again. Still a few aversions, but much better than before.

Symptoms: I feel a lot better than I have! I have started wearing out more easily and I am certain that the hypoglycemia that I experienced with James is back. I also have the regular pregnancy aches and pains – and a little sciatica, but not nearly as much as I had with James.

Sleep: Still ok. I’m getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but I’ve been going back to sleep. I’m having some trouble falling asleep.

What I Miss: Deli meat. And blue cheese. And yes, I know it’s okay to eat pasteurized blue cheese, but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to do it yet. (I also know that to miss blue cheese is WEIRD but my favorite restaurant salads have it on there.)

Best Moment This Week: Halloween festivities and my birthday weekend fun!
