Weekend Update...

On Friday night James decided to be an ill-pill so we didn't go anywhere. Eddie had been out of town for work for the afternoon so when he got back into town he picked up Zaxby's for the three of us to share (James has discovered chicken fingers!) and we planned to watch a movie.

There was also a little excitement in our family on Friday night but I'll share that in another post once I have pictures.

Saturday I got up and ran errands ALL BY MYSELF. I think I was gone almost two glorious hours and it was fantastic. I had to go to Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby to pick up a few things for a baby shower I'm co-hosting next weekend.

Eddie spent the day working on the swingset and I think it's almost ready to use! Hopefully (fingers crossed!) it will be very soon. Eddie has worked SO hard on this project and it's been a MUCH bigger hassle than either of us thought that it would be. I guess we're stuck in this house forever! Can't move now! Ha!

Saturday night we went to eat at Fatz. We hadn't been in a while and it was delicious. It's one of our favorite no-wait places. James mostly behaved. I'm not sure how normal it is but he is SO difficult to take out to dinner these days!

Sunday morning the boys went to church and I played hooky and stayed home to clean. I got some much-needed mopping completed and did a little tidying up before it was time to get myself ready for the day.

We headed to South Georgia for the afternoon for my dad's side of the family's yearly reunion. It was good to get to see lots of my cousins! We saw lots of them back in October at a gathering but it's always fun to get together with them and their children.

This is my baby cousin, Susana. And I seriously mean "baby" cousin. She's 13! She looks so growny to me! Beautiful girl!

James and LaLa. He enjoyed riding this horse? cow? panda bear?

Sunday night we spent some time playing at our house. Big news here is that JAMES TOOK A FEW STEPS! Finally! We let him walk two or three steps back and forth between us and he was excited! I know I'll regret it later, but at least he's finally showing some interest!

We have a moderately busy week ahead of us. Eddie has a few things going on at work, Mom and Anna will be here Friday for a doctor's appointment, and I'm getting ready for a friend's baby shower. Hope your week is wonderful! Things are starting to get busy!

***If you see a missing letter here and there, let me apologize! My keyboard is sticking a little bit (low batteries perhaps?) and I've tried to catch them all but probably won't!***
