And then it was time for GIFTS! I had all kinds of images of James ripping off the wrapping paper and knew that those dreams had been lost on Wednesday at his "practice" party. We were doing good if he was sitting next to us as WE opened the gifts. Maybe next year...
We did, however, have a handy little helper! Eddie asked Charlie (who, aside from his baby brother, was the only child at the party...the others had to come later) to assist in present opening. He gladly obliged!
This boy knows a good present when he sees it! Counting the birthday cash...
I hate to do it, but I have to say that John Michael is a pretty baby. I don't know how you couldn't call him pretty! This isn't the best picture, but I thought it was sweet!
I was so glad that everyone played along with all of the "dress up" things that I got. Between this, the clown noses, and the ringmaster's hat, people dressed up a lot more than I thought they would. I'll have to remember that next year!
So typical...he blinks in almost every picture!
