29 Weeks

My update is going to be more or less the same today. I weighed this morning and have gained around 17 pounds. *Gulp* I am really, really going to hate it when I hit the 20-pound mark. I can feel all 17 pounds on me, though. It makes it harder to move, breathe, do anything.

My sleeping has become terrible and erratic lately. I had heard I wouldn't be able to sleep much in the last weeks of pregnancy, but I'd slept so well that I thought I must not be in for it. NOT so much. Naps are occurring more often. When I do sleep I wake up often throughout the night. Last night it was because I was burning up and thirsty. I got up, bumped the air down (Eddie had already warned me - as he shivered - that he was turning it up), got a glass of water, went to the bathroom, and went back to sleep. Sometimes I wake up because I'm uncomfortable. Bad thing about that is I have to sit up to roll over now. I also sleep with a body pillow so I can sleep in a somewhat comfortable position (I'm a stomach sleeper and side sleeping has thrown me off) and when I wake up and roll over I have to reposition the pillow. Eddie, in his sleep (so he says) asked me the other night "What are you DOING over there?!?!?!" Just readjusting!

We had the Bargerons and the Days up this weekend (thank you, thank you!!!) to help with our fence. I spent the morning picking up and cleaning up the house and then went with the girls to Target when they got here. We were in and out of the house all day. I was worn out by 2 o'clock. Lori was trying to get Charlie to take a nap and it didn't work on him, but it did on me! She left mid-afternoon to run some errands and see her sister and I snuck into my room and lay down for an hour. I just wear out so quickly these days!

I hope that I don't sound whiny, I just want to remember how I've been feeling. Overall, this has been a VERY uneventful, easy pregnancy and I am very thankful for that. We can't wait to meet our little man. It gets closer every day and I can't believe it!

Try one of the personal fans on your side of the bed. Works wonders and Eddy won't even know it blowing on you:)
