Berry Good Day.

Eddie had to be out of town today and on days when Daddy isn't home for lunch AND gets home from work late, we are sad, sad, sad. I decided I'd entertain the boys by taking them to pick blueberries after school. Thankfully, Grandmama was able to go with us which made it even more fun (and she knew where we were going!). The farm had blueberries, strawberries (just a few left!), blackberries, raspberries, peaches, guinea fowl, chickens, a rooster, two goats, a pot-bellied pig, The boys picked a few blueberries (Grandmama and I did most of the work), rode around with Mr. Bob on his golf cart, and played with the animals. We even found a birds' nest in one of the blueberry bushes! It was a fun outing! I bet we go back this summer.
