Thank You For Our Nurseries.

Preacher James is going through a stage where he likes to say the blessing at supper. He goes through stages where he'll say it and times where he HATES it and doesn't even want to listen to ANYONE ELSE SAY IT. {Can you hear the drama?} Anyway, currently we're in a "saying it" stage of life and his blessing is SO precious that I wanted to save it forever. This is not the exact word-for-word version {as I'm not writing this down while he's saying it}, but it's close.

Dear God, Thank you for this day and thank you for this food and thank you that we're all here together. Thank you for our nurseries and our bodies to your service. Amen.

Say what?

Eddie's memorized, standard blessing goes like this:

Dear God, Thank you for this day and for bringing us all here together. Bless this food to the nourishment of our bodies and our bodies to your service. Amen.

Tee hee hee! He's so funny! I loved when he told me there was a juvenile snake on your porch and when I asked him what juvenile meant he told me poisonous!
