The boys have rekindled their love of dress-up recently {well, Will has LEARNED about dress-up and James has re-learned about it, I guess...} and we are in a stage where I have no less that 15 different characters in and out of the house in a day. A few weeks ago we had a Batman family movie night. We watched George Clooney's Batman and Robin, the little boys wore Batman jammies, and all three boys have Batman capes and masks {I do have pictures but I think it would be grounds for divorce if I posted them here...I had to swear when I took the pictures that they were NOT for the blog}. We have a teensy Batman and Robin obsession around here. Will runs through the house half the time yelling screaming, "Natman! Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh! Natman!"
So for tonight's movie night we went a different direction. And I'd love to call it "Family Movie Night," but Will has been uninvited. James and I just finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone {and we won't be reading the others quickly...I would read the next one but they definitely get darker...way darker...and we're just going to stop and sit on the first two for a bit} and tonight is the night we're going to watch the movie! He is PUMPED. He thought he'd hate the book because his daddy had him convinced it was terrible, but I insisted we read the first two chapters and he LOVED it. BEGGED me to read more several times. Because we love a party, I got a few cheapo things to throw together and call it a party. {Glasses and Bertie Botts from Amazon, wand made by me, Platform 9 3/4 sign on my chalkboard, orange lemonade = pumpkin juice, Hogwarts Express tickets from Google images, and scars courtesy of the eyeliner in my makeup bag. Easy peasy!}
Can't wait to tell you all about it!
