I realized I'd never posted pictures from Father's Day weekend. Today seems like a good day for that seeing as I have nothing else to talk about unless you want to hear about the fact that before 8:10 James and Will had both been in serious trouble - James for talking back and Will for biting the you-know-what out of James' cheek (he deserved it) - and James has no tv for the rest of the morning which is, you know, great when you have 1,000,001 things on your to do list.
So. Father's Day it is!
We went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning! I bought tomatoes and peaches. Both were just okay. I'm always a little disappointed at "just okay" from the Farmer's Market. Maybe next time.
Sunday morning we went to church. I promise James was happier than this.
Sunday afternoon I think the boys watched Monsters, Inc. I think. That or baseball. I'm ready for the college world series to be over, folks.
Eddie got a book that James told him about a few weeks before Father's Day - but I didn't KNOW James had told him. Apparently he saw it at the grocery store and pointed it out to Eddie and told him that's what we'd gotten him for Father's Day. Yea! He's also getting a bike that we'll pick up when we're in Macon for James' allergist appointment next week. He's picked out a hybrid. James didn't care what kind it was as long as Daddy would pull them around the neighborhood in the trailer. Apparently I don't go fast enough.
And that's about all we did. We were pretty lazy around here. I guess that's really what Father's Day is all about though, right? Letting the guys be lazy? Ha!
Happy Belated Father's Day to all the daddies and daddies-to-be and granddaddies and great granddaddies out there!
