Will at 3 Months...

Will is three months old! Wow! How did that happen? It definitely goes by faster the second time around.

At three months, Will weighs 14.5 pounds (I *think* he was 12 pounds, 10 ounces at his 2 month check up...unlike the 10 pounds, 12 ounces I blogged. I'll have to check on this) and is 24 inches long. (These are home measurements...nothing official.) James was 16 pounds, 24.5 inches so this is NOT unusual. We just grow big babies at our house. If he's anything like James, he'll look huge until 9 months and then it will taper off.

Will is in a size 2 diaper and I'm considering moving him up to a 3 very soon. He wears 3-6 and some 6-9 month clothes. In fact, the onesie in these pictures is 6-9 months so you can see it's not terribly large on him. I keep thinking we're going to outgrow some of our older friends soon!

Will is still very, very laid back. He sits back and watches and takes it all in. He doesn't talk much unless we get in his face and talk to him first. He doesn't get worked up unless he's overly tired, hungry, dirty, etc. But then he gets REALLY worked up. He's the happiest little thing most of the time, though!

He eats every 3-5 hours during the day. If I feed him for the last time at 9pm he'll sleep until right around 6am. But if I feed him between 11-12 I can sometimes get him to sleep until 8-9 which is SO nice.

He's still very flexible with his naps. I've been trying to feed him and keep him awake for at least an hour before letting him sleep. Depending on the time of day this may or may not work.

He has NEVER had to take Mylicon drops. He spits up, but not everything he ate like James did. Gas has never seemed to bother him much. He'll have a rough tummy moment every now and then, but it's not bad.

He's not a huge fan of a paci. He'll take it if he's especially worked up or sleepy, but otherwise he makes a face like it tastes horrible. And he can spit it several feet away. It's hilarious! He LOVES to suck his thumb and chew on his wubbie. He is a wubbie lover just like his brother!

He still sleeps swaddled up on the Nap Nanny. He IS in his own room, though. (I put him in it last night...he was awake at 4:30 and 7...not normal, folks. Hoping that gets better with time!)

He's in the drooly , slobbery stage of life. James did this, too. I think we'll probably start teething early this time around, too. James had teeth by five months.

We are so blessed to have this boy as our own. He is the most pleasant, sweet, smiley baby! I can't imagine our family without him!

Oh my gosh! Make him STOP growing! He's huge and I feel like he was born only yesterday!
