You won't believe what I've been able to do TWO DAYS IN A ROW. I have left my house ALONE and gone to various stores where I can take my time looking and enjoying being out and about. And did I mention being ALONE???
I love, love, love staying home with my sweet boy but I was needing to run some errands last night to two stores the boys just don't care anything about (Hobby Lobby and Hancock Fabrics). So when Eddie walked in the door I was dressed and ready to go and I told him I'd be back in a while! Ha! They enjoyed playing together while I was out and I enjoyed NOT saying "Please don't lean out of the cart," "Don't touch that," "Please don't scream," "We're going to leave in just a minute," etc. It. was. lovely.
Then this morning we got up and went for a walk and when we got back I got in my car to go to Starbucks and Toys 'R Us (I'd gotten a message that Santa had delivered a package for James early to the store) (Santa also left me a gift in the form of a "baby jail" aka baby gates).
Wonderful!
We've spent the morning and afternoon cleaning up, watching Georgia get stomped on by Arkansas, and doing a little project in our den that I'll be sure to take pictures of and post about later. We've gotten a tiny little makeover today!
