Granddaddy

From the moment he found out that we were having a baby, Granddaddy was absolutely thrilled. I wouldn't say that he was more excited than anyone else, he was just more vocal about it than anyone else. (Well, he probably tied with Poppy and Anna.)

When we went to the lake last Sunday for lunch he got down on the floor with James almost immediately and they played. When Grandmama asked him to go and light the grill he responded with, "I'm busy!" and Eddie was sent to do the job instead. I feel certain there's a lot more playing for these two in the future.
