Weekend Update...

We certainly can't complain about our weekends. They go by quickly but they are full of going and doing! This weekend was a little slower than some have been, but we had fun just the same!

Because James had immunizations on Thursday, he was lethargic and running a low-grade fever on Friday. The Boy took FOUR naps on Friday that were each almost an hour long. That is UNHEARD of. He usually takes that many, but he's a power-napping king and doesn't like to sleep for long! We decided to have a pizza and a movie night at the house so that we could put him to bed early and not worry that he was feeling yucky.

On Saturday morning we woke up to rain, rain, rain! Eddie persevered and got some yard work done anyway. We spent the afternoon working in the garage on getting it organized. I'm happy to say that some progress was made, but not much. Ha!

I've been facing some bad headaches lately. We're not sure what the reason is, but before everyone tells me to go get it seen about, I'll assure you that I will if they persist. This weekend I'm 99.9% sure it's just been the weather that has caused issues. I woke up dizzy and a little nauseated so I think that it's probably just the pressure causing sinus issues and/or vertigo from inner ear fluid - they've hurt a little as well. So...because I've been battling a headache all weekend long, I spent a good portion of my time on the sofa. Being a slug was a lot easier when I didn't have a little boy who has learned (much to his daddy's dismay) to say "mamamamamamamama." (He can also say "nyahnyahnyahnyah." Anyone know what that means?)

On Saturday evening we had plans to meet the Putnals for dinner in WR but Reed had a bad afternoon and Heather didn't want to get too far. We headed for Macon and had dinner at Gueseppi's. I can tell you that the food was good, the fellowship was fun, but the service stunk. Oh well. We enjoyed spending time with the Putnals.

This morning we went to church for the second week in a row. Woohoo! We enjoyed that and I think James was well entertained by some little three-year-olds who flocked to him when we handed him over to the nursery workers. Ha!

My long-time friend and college roommate, Mary Beth, stopped by on her way home this afternoon. She's due with Baby Girl Guest on July 12th and James cannot wait to meet another girlfriend! Seriously, he has a TON of girlfriends - we're thankful for Reed and John Michael! I feel like everyone else had girls! Ha! Mary Beth and I enjoyed catching up and I enjoyed imparting my wealth of wisdom upon her. :)

I've spent the evening feeling particularly yucky yet again. I'm pretty puny tonight. I hope y'all will forgive such a long post with no pictures. I'll update those later in the week. James took a "real" tub bath tonight so I have pictures of that plus some nap-time pictures of the boys today.

I hope you enjoyed your weekend as well! Make this a good week!
