What's For Dinner...

Our first trip to Publix following my E-mealz list was a SUCCESS. The longest part was talking to a friend that I ran into! Ha!

Of the seven meals this week, I marked off two immediately - Meatloaf (Eddie loathes meatloaf) and Chicken Salad (Eddie loathes mayonnaise...are you seeing the picky one in the bunch???). The other five meals were winners - minus the brocolli (I loathe brocolli!) that I just switched to a salad.

The sales were right on with the exception of one or two items. I also added in a few "extras" that we needed. Our total for groceries this week was $60.22. Might sound like a lot for two, but we're talking about 5 suppers and however many leftover lunches that it will last! I don't think it's half bad! PLUS, we're trying new things!'s What's For Dinner:
Wednesday: Chicken and Rice Bake with Asparagus
Thursday: (EASY MEAL!) Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Toasted Garlic Strips, and Salad
Friday & Saturday: Out or Leftovers
Sunday: Cheddar Bacon Quiche with Sweet Rolls (this was a little strange to me, but we had them in the fridge...) and Salad
Monday: Zesty Beef 'N Tater Casserole and Green Beans
Tuesday: Pork Chops Over Rice and Sweet Carrots
Hopefully all will go well and we'll enjoy it!
