Grammar Apologies and Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

So...I have a few issues with being a blogger and I'm not sure how to remedy them. While I may make grammatical and/or spelling errors every once in a while (and only because I'm not paying attention), for the most part I'm a pretty good grammar-girl. I get paid to be one. I have to be one. However, lately the blogging world is messing with my punctuation and I do not like it one little bit! So...I feel the need to let you all know that it isn't my fault. It's Blogspot's fault. I'm only saying this because I don't want you to think that I'm a moron of an English teacher who doesn't know how to separate paragraphs, etc. I spent 30 minutes on my last post trying to make it separate my paragraphs and indent...and it just won't. I apologize for the lack of appropriate punctuation and formatting.

*Phew*

On to other goodies! This is what I made this morning:

Here is how YOU can make them:

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 sticks butter, softened (find your inner Paula for this one...)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 15-oz can pumpkin

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 12-oz pkg of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375*.

Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonful onto greased baking sheets.

Bake for 15 minutes (I took mine out at 13 minutes) or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely. Enjoy!
