These Are A Few of My Favorite Things (Alternately Titled: Dear Mama, Here's My Christmas List!)

So since someone *ahem, ME* has a birthday coming very soon (if you listen closely you'll hear my insurance rates drop), I've been asked (told) to make a wish list for both my birthday and Christmas. I already told her what I wanted to get for my birthday (Wii Fit! *crosses fingers!*), I'm going to just mention a few things that I might be interested in...just for fun!

1. Obviously, the Canon Rebel. I've asked for it, oh, 3 years in a row now. Once more couldn't hurt, right? Anyone? Mom? Dad?

2. New Citizens jeans. Mine have holes in them. But they're the most comfortable jeans in the entire world and I wear them all the time...hence, the holes.

3. A sewing machine. I do not know what kind. I'm a beginner. Any suggestions as to what kind I should ask for would help. Jessica and Bess? Dianne and Sherry? You girls seem to be gifted in this area. Share away!

4. A KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment.

5. A KitchenAid food processor. You know...for all the chicken salad I want to make since my husband loves it so much. Ok, so it's a selfish request and I only want it for myself. I said it was MY Christmas list!

6. A Blackberry Pearl. Seriously. That's not too much to ask, right? Don't tell Eddie I've asked for this. He's already told me no.

7. Planet Earth on DVD. Have y'all seen that? It's amazing!

8. XM/Satellite Radio. I don't know what it's even called now. Did Sirius and XM combine? I dunno. Anyway, if you've ridden in my car in the last two years you know what I'm dealing with. I can hear the radio but I have no clue what I'm listening to. The letters and numbers have disappeared. And the car wasn't even very old when it happened! We've taken it to see about fixing it and there's not a chance. It was going to be around $400. Those letters and numbers aren't worth that much.

This is definitely a selfish post. I'm completely aware of that. I realize that it's shallow, especially when so many things are going on in the lives of others. However, it was really fun to "wish" for a few things. What are a few of your favorite things???

Christmas is just around the corner! Only 67 days to go!!!

a. LOVE the Red Kitchen Aid mixer.
b. get an inexpensive sewing machine to start w/. In a year if you are still sewing all of the time & getting a lot of use out of it (and it's not sitting in a closet collecting dust)-get an upgrade! I used mine non-stop for about 4 months & never really picked it up again. Nice to know it's there when I need it & that it didnt cost much.
c. Miss you!
