31 Days of Halloween: Day 25 - Monster Munch.

At James' party this week I took "Monster Munch" for his class. There are a million ways to make this, but I had to make it peanut, tree nut, and gluten free. I thought I'd share, but again, you can really change this and make it any way you'd like!

Ingredients:
2 cups Corn Chex cereal
2 cups Pirate's Booty {you can find this in the chips aisle}
12 oz bag white chocolate chips
12 oz bag chocolate chips
12 oz bag Caramel Bits {I found this with the seasonal items but it can probably also be found on the baking aisle}
Bag of candy corn or candy pumpkins

1. Combine Corn Chex and Pirate's Booty in large mixing bowl.
2. Melt white chocolate in microwave-safe bowl in 30 second increments. Stir well. White chocolate tends to start clumping if it gets too hot to be careful!
3. Pour melted white chocolate over cereal mixture. Stir until combined. Spread mixture onto a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
4. Top with other ingredients.
5. All to dry completely before breaking and storing in an air-tight container.

{I wish I'd left out the candy pumpkins and added Halloween colored sprinkles to brighten it up even more. This was a BIG hit with the parents!}
