James and I took a trip to Tifton yesterday when I picked him up from school. When I arrived (an hour early) they were eating lunch and he was in no hurry to leave. That child doesn't miss a meal!
I dropped James off with Cacky and quickly ran to meet Miss Anna Cate. She was born on Monday and while her pictures led me to believe that she's chunky, she is not! She's itty bitty! I enjoyed holding her for a while and snuggling!
After visiting with the Day family, I headed to the Bargeron's house for a Willow House party. While the turnout wasn't fabulous, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Lori and the boys! (And I think I might've eaten my weight in Ruffles and french onion dip! Mmm.)
James and I had dinner with Poppy and Cacky (I believe he had a visit with Grandmama and Kelly, too!) and then waited out the rain to head home. He slept the whole way and went down easily when we got here. Thank goodness!
On the agenda this weekend: high school football, zoo, pumpkin patch, college football, church, and maybe another trip to the fair (maybe just for Daddy this time, though). I also have to wrap up all of my birthday party odds and ends. Hopefully there's enough time for everything! Whew!
