Pumpkin Spice Latte

It's my favorite time of the year - Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is back. The drawbacks, of course, are the 15 minutes it takes me to get there, the $5 it costs, and the 1,000,000 calories it contains. I found a recipe for a crockpot pumpkin spice latte back in the spring and I couldn't WAIT to try it. So I indulged one day last week and put it all in the crockpot while I was getting ready and dropping James off at school.

The original recipe came from this blog.

Ingredients:
* 2 cups milk
* 3/4 cup brewed coffee
* 2 Tbsp pumpkin
* 2 Tbsp vanilla
* 2 Tbsp sugar
* 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Mix all ingredients in a small crockpot. Cook on high for two hours. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Verdict: This was just okay to me. I wish it had more coffee, less milk, less pumpkin
