In Full Swing...

I'm in the middle of crazy-busy, last-minute birthday party planning. I've been vague about the birthday party on purpose, but I am so excited to see it all come together. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that in a week from tomorrow I will have a ONE YEAR OLD child. Thinking back on this entire year totally blows my mind. In some ways I feel like we've had him forever, and in other ways I feel like I was just pregnant a week ago! You truly can't understand how quickly it goes by until you watch it on a daily basis. I don't want the next twenty to go by this quickly, but I'm certain that they will.

I just put in an order for all of James' monthly pictures. They're not the best pictures I have of him, but I like that they're all very similar and have each month's weight and height included. I'm using them for a project for his party.

I have a few things to pick up this week, a few orders to place next week (balloons and food), some last minute decorations to purchase and then I think we're totally there!

Eddie and I are spending the weekend working our heinys off to build ourselves a swingset. It's been on the to-do list for two years but I really, really want it done for J's party. It'll have room for his swing that Grandmama bought for him months ago and I'm excited because the cooler weather means we'll be able to play outside more!

We're "in full swing" for sure! I can't wait to share his party!
