Super Serious Cleaning Question...

I'm not sure what got into me this morning, but I love it. Eddie will love it even more.

James was up this morning around 7 o'clock and since he was bouncing off the walls (aka, crawling all over myself and my bed) I decided we wound go ahead and get up. Sometimes I can get him to eat and go back to sleep for another hour, but this morning was not one of those times.

I have been known to drag around in the mornings. I like to leisurely eat my breakfast, check my email, possibly watch a little television or read. Not today! James and I got up and played for about an hour before he decided that was quite enough and he'd like to go back to bed. Fine with me! Before 9 AM I had eaten breakfast, checked emails, showered, read MOST of my Quiet Time reading of the day, and mopped the dining room. Good gracious!

Since then I have also mopped the foyer and cleaned it entirely and cleaned the kitchen entirely. I am moving on to my bedroom next. This house is going to be shiny before Eddie gets home!

Ok, now to my super serious cleaning question. We own a Swiffer Sweeper Vac (nope, not paid to talk about this...). It used to do a pretty good job. We have mostly laminate flooring (only the bedrooms and office are carpeted) so we try to run over the floors every other day with the Swiffer. I said try. I'm just being honest here. So in my cleaning frenzy today (as well as other days before this) I have noticed that my Swiffer Vac is not picking up what I think that it should pick up. I'm going over floors twice and then still having to sweep with a broom or go behind with my dust buster to get the remnants. I've had my eye on the Shark (not paid to say this either). Not the steam version of the Shark, just the hand-held sweeper. I'm not sure whether it's worth the price or not. Does anyone have it? If you do, would you leave me a comment or shoot me an email telling me whether or not you think it's worth buying? And if you have any other suggestion, let me know about that, too.

That was a lot of rambling to ask a very simple question. Sorry! Carry on with your day!
