This is another oldie-but-goodie at our house! It's not my FAVORITE potato soup recipe, but it is the easiest so it is our go-to! It's a dump and go recipe which is perfect for a busy day!
Ingredients:
1 bag of frozen, hash brown potatoes (southern style)
1/2 chopped onion (I use a frozen diced onion)
2 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package cream cheese, cubed
salt and pepper to taste
Sour cream, cheddar, and bacon to garnish.
Add all ingredients except cream cheese to crockpot and cook on low 6-8 hours.
About 30 minutes before it's done, add in cubed, softened cream cheese.
Give it a good stir, spoon into bowls, and top with shredded cheddar, sour cream, and bacon.
Serve alone or with chips or bread for dipping! Enjoy!
