Pre-K?!

My tiniest little baby boo started his last year of preschool today. I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around him being in PRE-K. He has grown so much over the past few months. He still has some growing and maturing to do before he can go off to kindergarten, but I think he'll be ready!

He got up this morning and begrudgingly put on a polo and seersucker shorts. I promised him he could wear "PE clothes" tomorrow if he'd just wear what I asked today. Thankfully, that convinced him to get ready. After combing down that unruly hair, we were ready for a few pictures.

This year is the first year that MY first day of school has also been HIS first day of school. I've never worked on Mondays before! We got to school super early for a few pictures and a practice run of walking up to his room. Then I stayed in my room and Daddy walked him in. Eddie said he went right in without any tears. The only tears of the day came when I came to pick him up instead of GRANDMAMA. The horror.

We both had a good first day! The babies weren't too terribly whiny (I have SEVEN this year) and Will managed to behave even though he and his bestie are together again this year. Hurricanes! That's what they are.

Will seems to be especially happy that there seems to be no discipline plan in place. He's used to getting stamps (3) for good behavior, but they don't do that in Pre-K. Hopefully that won't deter him from trying hard to control himself.

The only thing he's peeved about is that there are no field trips this week. Pre-K is THE year for field trips and he's ready to go!

We can't wait to see how much he grows and changes this year!
