Well, I'm ashamed to say it, but it's July 1st and in the month of June I only read one book. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. James and I read this together. (I've read it like 12 times...!) Someone's Daddy had convinced him that Harry Potter is not good so it took some talking by Mama to fix that problem. Know what happened? James LOVED it, loved the movie, and cannot wait until we can read the second one. (We're pacing ourselves because at some point we can't read anymore...they get dark and grown-up.) The first night we read I convinced him to let me just read one chapter and if he didn't like it, we'd stop. Well...I read the first and got up to leave and he asked me to read another. I kindly obliged. :) We planned one of our fun movie nights around finishing the book (we've had Batman movie night this summer, too) and it was such fun!
We have a few books in progress right now (story of my life...this is why it takes forever to finish anything!) so next month we'll recap more, I hope. Currently I have Grace, Wheat Belly, Life of Pi, Gone with the Wind, What Shamu Taught Me About Life, Love, and Marriage, and The House on Pooh Corner in progress. Sheesh. I tend to check a handful out from the library and feel like I need to read them all at once.
What are you reading?

I am with ya! I have a stack and the best intentions, but just can't seem to get it together. So busy during the day that come bedtime (when I normally would read) I am ready to crash!
