Pre-Thanksgiving Lake Weekend.

OH MY WORD. Just blog, Lauren. Our wireless router is driving me NUTS, I've been shopping for Christmas like a crazy person, and it's not that I haven't had MATERIAL for blogging...I have about 15 drafts started...I just haven't had TIME. 'Tis the season, friends. 'Tis the season.

The weekend before Thanksgiving we hit the road to Lake Oconee for a weekend {and a little more for the boys} with Papa and YaYa.

Saturday we spent the morning riding the "PapaCart" (Will calls it the "CartCart") and feeding the neighborhood turkey. What? You don't have a neighborhood turkey?

After lunch and naps we got ourselves ready and headed to Athens to see the Dawgs play!

Will and YaYa made brownies while we were gone.

There was a picture of a goat at the lake and someone was in LOVE with it. We finally took it down off the wall (it was on the basement stairs and I was panicking that he'd fall) and he kissed and kissed and kissed the goat. What a weird kid.

On Sunday afternoon we had a pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving. Round one of turkey, dressing, and cranberry sauce. Mmmm, mmmmm!

Eddie and I left shortly after lunch and the boys hit the road to Papa and YaYa's house for a few extra days.

We stopped at our house {our house that's for sale...if you're looking for a home in middle Georgia let me know!!!} to pick up some of our Christmas decorations and a quick trip to Target {because, let's be honest...if I'm within a 20 mile range I need to stop} and then headed home.

The boys stayed with Papa and YaYa Sunday night-Wednesday afternoon. Judging by the meltdown James had when Papa left {and not a fit-pitching kind...an emotional one!} and the sassiness we've had since they've been home, I'd say they spent their days getting spoiled rotten! I don't know everything that they did but I've heard about a visit to Grandmommie's where they swam in the heated pool, a trip to the mall where Will shopped at the American Girl store, and of course no trip to Atlanta is complete without a meal {or three!} at California Pizza Kitchen.

Thanks, Papa and YaYa for our fun weekend!
