James' last day of school was on Friday. He has had a FABULOUS year. I prayed all last summer that he would have a sweet teacher who made him obey but who also understood small children. We had the BEST teacher this year. I so wish she could move on up to the 3 year olds WITH James! The whole school change was a fantastic move for us and I'm excited about the next 2-3 years that James will be there. (We're considering leaving him for Kindergarten...)
At the beginning of the year, James weighed 34.4 pounds and was 37 inches tall. On Friday James weighed 36.8 pounds and was 39.5 inches tall. That's a good bit of growing! He's getting way too big!
James had "graduation" on Thursday where they sang three songs for parents. It was sweet!
As far as end-of-the-year gifts, I have to say that I waited until WAY last minute and jumped on the "box of sunshine" with a bunch of other folks. But, really...Amy Tippins made it way too easy for me. Grabbed that gift tag from her. Find it here.
For Mrs. T.:
Sunshine box goodies: Golden Double Stuf Oreos, lemon hand soap, yellow notecards, lemon candle, yellow frame with "You Are My Sunshine" printable from Amy, Chick-fil-A chocolate chip cookies, and Chick-fil-A gift card. I know that the CFA stuff isn't yellow, but chocolate chip cookies brighten my day and free food makes everyone happy, right?
For Mrs. C, the director:
For classmates:
Printable for the popsicles HERE.
The class had an ice cream party on Friday and Will and I joined them.
Will was a favorite of the girls. Girls are rough with babies! Whew! I had to rescue him after a bit.
I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about our summer. We have a LOT going on, but I love my days when I can just haul one kid in and out of a store to get errands run. James is actually the better shopper, though, so we'll survive! In the fall James will go Tuesday-Thursday and Will will stay on Wednesdays. We have two weeks of swimming lessons and a week of VBS coming up in June to look forward to.

that pic of Will is hysterical! ladies man, for sure!
I love the box of sunshine idea. I'm new to this kid-in-preschool thing, so I'm late getting something. I think I'll borrow your Chick-fil-a cookie idea and gift card. :)
He looks like such a big kid!!!
