I know I haven't posted any pictures in a long while. I hope you'll forgive me for that because today's post will runneth over with pictures! I also know that I say a lot how busy we are! Some days we don't even go anywhere and I feel busy! Recently, though, there's been a lot of going. Enjoy the pictures! (Some taken by me, some texted to us, some stolen from others' Facebook pages! Thanks to Kelly and Mrs. Juli for the contributions!)
May 28th:
The only way to keep this boy occupied when his daddy is home but has to be working in the yard.
June 1:
James has become very successful at putting puzzles together. Unfortunately, I only got the top of his head because my battery died as soon as I took the picture. He has gotten GREAT at these, though.
Later, James felt the need to do a little gardening while Eddie pulled hoses around the yard.
June 4th:
We traveled to Tifton for Anna and Lance's reception hosted by lots of Mama's friends.
June 5th:
Eddie and I traveled to St. Simons for a conference he had to attend. We stayed at the King & Prince and had a GREAT room. We were only about 40 feet from the beach. Excellent! It was hot, sticky, and muggy the whole time we were there, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway!
James had a spend-the-night party with Grandmamma and Granddaddy while we were gone. Kelly texted Eddie this picture of James test-driving Granddaddy's car. :) He's ready to hit the road!
June 7th:
I didn't take many pictures at ALL at St. Simons. Shame on me. Picture lots of reading, sitting at the pool, walking on the beach, etc. :) On Tuesday as we were leaving we went by Christ Church. Eddie had never seen it before. I've walked around the cemetery there hundreds of times, I'm sure. When we got there we noticed a sign that read "Grounds Closed on Tuesday between 10-5 for maintenance." Typical. We took pictures and then left.
Hopefully I'll do a better job about taking pictures. While we're on that topic, I would LOVE a new point-and-shoot that doesn't break the bank but is better than my current one. Anyone have one they love? My little one is a Casio Exilim and the big camera is a Canon Rebel. I'd like something in between the two. I need something that takes good pictures, is smaller, and doesn't require me to read the owner's manual before shooting. Let me know what you're using!
