Book Update...November

I have a Thanksgiving update, complete with pictures, but I haven't quite finished it. Because I have a WH Party tonight it'll probably be tomorrow. (Be patient, Anna!)

I got busy again this month and only read one book! This month, it was The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.

I have to admit that I've started this book a few times and then put it down. This time, though, I was determined to finish. It's long but it's a great read if you're into fantasy. (It's no secret that I love Harry Potter, right?) I thoroughly enjoyed the book. So much, in fact, that I rented the 1977 animated version and have it read to watch whenever I can find a little time! I'll have to pick up The Lord of the Rings trilogy one of these days!

This month?

I've started a book called The Magicians by Lev Grossman and have slowly but surely been working my way through it. And you know what? I. hate. it. I don't like a book that I don't look forward to picking up. So I quit it last week.

I purchased George Bush's Decision Points recently and I'm looking forward to that one!

My book club chose Like Water for Elephants for January so I'll start that one this week as well. I've heard that it's EXCELLENT and also that it's going to be a Rob Pattison/Reese Witherspoon movie! I love movies based on books!
