Back In the Saddle Again...

Although pregnancy weight was incredibly easy for me to lose, I got stuck. I've written about that before and I'm sure I'll write about it again. I need to write it so that I'm held accountable, though. I need to speak it out loud (or in the blog world, anyway) and talk about my goals so that I feel like there's someone to report to.

Two weeks ago I went to Weight Watchers Online and got set up again. My goals are:

* Lose 10 pounds by June 11th - This seems totally do-able right now. It's the weekend of Eddie's family's reunion PLUS the weekend we head to the Smith Family Vacation - both in South Carolina. It seemed milestone-ish so I thought 10 pounds was appropriate.

* Lose 20 pounds by September 3rd - This goal may change. I don't actually need to lose 20 pounds, but it would be nice. I'd be totally satisfied with 15. I'd weigh less than I did when we got married by five pounds. We'll see. I say September 3rd because (I think) it's Labor Day weekend and I signed up for a WW "challenge."

* Fit into my darn clothes! I started out a little more than I did when I found out I was pregnant (which in and of it self disgusts me...) but even if I weighed less I couldn't fit into my clothes. I know that I'm nursing so that's causing some issues with shirts but everything shifts during pregnancy and nothing feels good on me.

Fridays are my "weigh-in" days so I'm planning to report back here. Hold me accountable!!!

Week 1: -1.4 lbs.
Week 2: -1.6 lbs.
Week 3: +0.2 lbs. (I fell off the wagon in a BIG way this week and I'm surprised it wasn't WAY more.)
Total: -2.8 lbs.

I'll try to keep you posted on this darn process. Am I the only one?

You are not alone...and it's WAY easier when you're young (and nursing). Those ten pounds....
