(I know he's supposed to have my daddy's hairline, but does he not look just like Eddie in the picture above? That hairline makes me laugh!)
Well we had a new experience today! We finally tried out a bottle. I was a little nervous that he wouldn't show any interest in it at all. I became more nervous when James decided it was TIME TO EAT and Eddie wasn't home from his errands. I fixed a bottle and had it in the warmer when Eddie came running in the door. On the first try (his 11 am feeding) he ate right around 3 ounces. We have NO idea how much he typically eats in a feeding since I've been nursing exclusively. After we fed him we ran out for lunch and errands and thought he'd be pitching a fit to eat again around 2 pm. We finally woke him up at 2:30 to eat again! He ate 4.5 ounces this afternoon and that must've filled his little tummy right up because he STILL (at almost 4 hours later!) hasn't asked to eat. I guess I'm going to have to wake him up again! Hopefully we're starting to spread our eating times out a bit, but just when I think we've moved to every 4 hours, he's screaming at 2.5! Eddie enjoyed being able to partake in the feeding today and I'm thrilled that I'll be able to leave him for more than just 2-3 hours at a time! This also may make our holidays a lot less hectic - especially when I'm at someone else's house!
