32 Weeks...

We only have EIGHT WEEKS LEFT! I can't believe it!

We had our 32 week checkup this morning. It was a super-quick, very easy one. I saw Dr. H. again. I really like her. Wonder what the chances are I'll get to have her for delivery? Hmmm...Probably be the one doctor I've never laid eyes on! My blood pressure was good this morning - 122/66. Sort of low on the diastolic end, huh? The Boy's heart rate was somewhere in the 140s. He was being stubborn once again (imagine that!) and wouldn't stay still. He was a little bit of a wiggle worm this morning! Overall, everything was normal and as it should be. Dr. H. asked if I was feeling better since we'd last spoken. I feel good and bad. I don't know that changing what I'm eating has helped TOO much (it can't hurt, though). Typical breakfast is now 32 ounces of water with protein powder, a whole-wheat mini bagel with peanut butter, and cheese of some sort. I'm not much on the milk so if I don't have cereal I try to eat cheese for calcium benefits. Dr. H. said that unfortunately I'm probably just getting to that point in the pregnancy where I'm just going to be tired a lot of the time. I'm getting ready to feel normal again, though! Blessed beyond belief by an easy pregnancy, but ready for the next 8 weeks to breeze by!

I spent the weekend feeling sort of yucky. I don't know if it's the weather or some sort of allergen or what but I had a headache all day on Saturday and part of the day on Sunday. Saturday I took FOUR Tylenol. I rarely take medicine and when I do, I NEVER have to re-dose later. I even missed a dinner that Eddie had been invited to. He had to go without me and I slept almost the entire time he was gone. Hopefully that will be gone this week.

Make Room for Baby called last week to let us know that our furniture (all but the rocker) is in. We'll be picking that up on our next trip to Tifton. I can't wait to get it put together and in his room so that we can see what it looks like. Sort of sad that I haven't gotten much done so far. I feel ready to get it finished.

We're looking for wall decorations this week. I bought name letters that Dianne has said she'll paint. That should look cute on the wall. I've been looking into ordering prints that I can frame. I found a pretty good website online last week. Now I just have to decide what I want. We've also looked at Target for bookshelves but wanted to wait until our furniture came in to make sure that they matched. I also found a really cute blanket at Cracker Barrel of all places and it would match perfectly. I may go back and get that this week. It's getting real and is getting fun!
