Happy Anniversary!

It was a nice day at our house. We celebrated our first anniversary today! We had a pretty enjoyable morning and afternoon. This morning someone was super-excited about swapping gifts (and it wasn't me for a change!). Eddie bought me an external hard-drive that I DESPERATELY needed. I have millions of pictures and songs on my computer and it's been telling me for months that I've run out of space. I've just been deleting and deleting so now I don't have to worry about that anymore. I gave Eddie a Shutterfly book (what else, right?). I really think he's not as excited about them as I am, but I know that in ten or fifteen years we'll look back and he'll enjoy having them. He really did enjoy looking at it today. It was fun to look at all we've accomplished with this house in the past year. We had lunch at Olive Garden and went to the mall for Bath and Body Works and Belk. Exciting, huh? We'd planned to see a movie this afternoon, but I was feeling pretty yucky. I feel like these days if I have a good day, the next day I have a bad day. I was just worn out feeling all morning and afternoon. I almost feel like I'm getting a sinus infection, but I really just think it was from being out and about yesterday. We came home after our errands and I laid down and took a two-hour nap while Eddie watched the rest of the British Open (poor old Tom...). When I FINALLY got up I still wasn't feeling great. We had a low-key evening. We watched Gran Torino and ate our wedding cake. It was just as good as it was a year ago! I'm not sure if anyone else noticed it, but today would've been the PERFECT day to get married. This entire weekend it has been so cool outside! Nothing like last year!

Our first year has been fun and exciting. Everyone said it would be a challenge, and while it's had its moments, I haven't felt like it was difficult at all. I think being apart for so long while we were dating has really made us appreciate being able to be together now. We've had QUITE the year! We would both definitely enjoy a slower pace, but I think we're about to be in for it! Ha!

I love you, Eddie! Here's to many, many more!
