They can often be confused...Sounds like migraines. They can often be confused with sinus headaches, but are usually predominately on one side of the head and have nausea associated with them. Try taking a headache medicine with caffiene in it at the onset of the headache and that usually makes them stop for most people. Also, look up food triggers for migraines because it might help you find out your trigger for them if that's what is making you have them. She eventually traced it to a wheat/bread/gluten allergy, or something of that nature. Apparently cutting that allergen out of her diet has made her migraine free. It wasnt a bad enough allergy to make her have your typical allergic reactions (rash/breathing issues).
